One place to see what’s happening in the field

Field updates were scattered across messages, documents, and different tools. We brought the important pieces together so the team could spend less time chasing status.

The starting point

Understand the work before changing it.

The work itself was moving, but there was no single place to see the whole job. Field updates, documents, and follow-up lived in different places, leaving the office and field to piece the story together.

The pressure point

People in the field and people in the office were both doing their part, but the information between them was hard to follow. Someone was always checking a message, updating a sheet, or asking what happened next.

What we built

One connected answer to the real problem.

We organized the system around the job itself: what had happened, what needed attention, and who needed to act next.

One shared job view

Status, supporting documents, and the next step were brought together so the current picture was easier to understand.

Cleaner handoffs

Updates could move between the field and office without the same information being entered in several places.

People keep the final say

Approvals and unusual decisions stayed with the people who know the work; the system carried the routine coordination around them.

How we worked

Make it with the people who will use it.

  1. 01

Followed a job from the first update through to final follow-up

  2. 02

Brought job status, documents, and next steps into one view

  3. 03

Removed repeated entry where the same detail appeared in several places

  4. 04

Left approvals and unusual decisions with the people who know the work

The result

A clearer way forward.

FieldOps OS gives the office and field a shared view of each job. The routine updates are easier to follow, while the decisions that need experience still stay with people.

  • Job status, documents, and next steps brought into one clearer view
  • Less repeated entry when the same update needs to reach the office and the field
  • A shared way for both teams to see what happened and what comes next
